Chris Ekstam is a physician and entrepreneur living in Texas. After college at the University of Delaware, he went to New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and then did residency in Anesthesiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. In addition to practicing anesthesiology, he owns a patent for a medical invention he created.
Chris shares his journey from college to medical school to residency and then to attending. More importantly he shares life lessons about how and why to travel. Somtimes you just need to put your phone down and wing it—essentially figure it out in the moment.
He concludes an almost 2 hour discussion with some financial advice reminding us to pay ourselves first and the things you own…end up owning you.
