Amazing Woman Without Arms Can Teach You How to Go After Your Dreams

I’ll never forget looking out of the corner of my eye to the right and seeing the woman next to me taking notes with her foot.  It was the VidSummit conference for video artists and entrepreneurs held at the LAX Westin hotel in Los Angeles.  I wanted to watch her write with her foot but I also felt a bit awkward about it.  I tuned my attention back to the lecture but I decided I was going to say hello once the lecture was over.

Tisha was born without arms, is a painter, and a filmmaker who lives in the Midwest.  She was delighted that I came up and said hello.

“I would much rather have people come up and talk to me.” said Tisha in our interview.

She works and paints for the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists, an organization that helps sell their art as calendars and greeting cards.

Tisha also has her own YouTube channel and her videos about how she lives her life without arms are funny and inspirational.

She also has another channel with Jessica Cox called Life With Feet.

You can learn a lot from Tisha.  Never be afraid to go up and talk to new people.  Most of all don’t let anything get in the way of your dreams.  Go out and create!  Make the world a better place!
